At Wescreen we offer five different types of criminal record searches. All are a vital part of Pre Employment Screening. For the Federal laws that pertain to criminal record searches see FCRA. For your local and state laws please refer to the map below.

Countywide Criminal Record Search (ON SITE) - This is a search of Felony and Misdemeanor convictions in a single jurisdiction that you choose. These records do not include expunged, sealed or juvenile convictions. Most common search will include Upper and Lower Superior Courts and does not include Municipal Court records.

Coverage is any county in the U.S. Turnaround is 1 to 3 days

Statewide Criminal Record Search - This is a search of Felony and Misdemeanor convictions in a single state that you choose. These records do not include expunged, sealed or juvenile convictions.

Federal Criminal Record Search - This is a search of Federal Criminal Records in a district/state that you choose. An example of a Federal Criminal Record would be embezzelment or kidnapping. These records do not include expunged, sealed or juvenile convictions.

National Wants and Warrants Search - This is a search of a national repository of outstanding warrants by government and state agencies. NOTE** If there are any warrants pending, the issuing agency may contact you for the information you have on file.

INSTANT CRIMINAL DATABASE SEARCHES
 
Many states available. This search will search the state repository for
felony and misdemeanor convictions over the last 7 to 10 years depending on
the state.  We have coverage information available on the 40 states and
their jurisdictions.  (Please check coverage)

Note:  Wescreen cannot guarantee the accuracy of statewide searches as not all
counties participate in the statewide upload.  For guaranteed results we
suggest you conduct county record searches.
